DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - The holiday season is upon us and tonight we sponsored our annual Christmas City of the North Parade in downtown Duluth.

There were plenty of mittens, hats, hot chocolate and blankets with parade patrons out there tonight.

It was definitely a chillier evening than last year, but that didn't stop all sorts of people from heading outside.

Eighty–one different organizations such as high school marching bands, dancers and others had floats or marched in the parade tonight.

We estimated there were about 9,000 people, which is less than last year, but it was a chilly night.
