Missing children in Hermantown have been located

Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Two children went missing after they were playing in the front yard of a home, and were located almost two hours later at the Piedmont Milk House in Duluth.

5 year old Adam Lijegren and 7 year old Allison Andrews were playing in the front yard of the home on Haines Road in Hermantown.

Their parents noticed they had gone missing around 11 a.m.

Rescue squads with dogs have been sent to the area as well as aerial surveillance planes.

Hermantown and Proctor Police departments responded to the scene as well as the St. Louis Sheriff's Department.

Two families in Hermantown are breathing a sigh of relief tonight after their children went missing for three hours.

Their parents were greatly relieved when police told them they were safe.

The parents said this was a frightening experience but a valuable lesson for all children,

At 12:50 p.m., the children were located at the Piedmont Milk House on Piedmont Avenue.
