UPDATE: Long-Term Recovery Committee Adds Session Date

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Another Long-Term Recovery Committee session has been added to the schedule, so individuals in Duluth and St. Louis County can learn more about the sources available to aid in flood recovery.

According to Paula Reed, President of the United Way of Greater Duluth, the purpose of a Long Term Recovery Committee is to help affected families develop a plan and receive adequate assistance for their recovery.

The LTRC also aims to strengthen area-wide disaster coordination by sharing information, simplifying client access, and jointly resolving cases with unmet needs.

Interested individuals, nonprofit leaders, organizational and business representatives are encouraged to attend.
