Superior, Wis. (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Wisconsin Superior has unveiled its final strategic plan, following a year of planning.
University officials say the plan will impact all aspects of UWS. The plan revises the school's mission statement with a greater emphasis on the needs of the community and surrounding areas.
The strategic plan has immediate timelines and is a part of the Superior Visions 2020 project.
Lynne Williams, Director of Marketing and Communications at UWS says the plan focuses on providing students with more career outcomes.
"This plan is designed to really enhance the student experience. This takes us to the next level,” said Williams. “The core of the plan is the student experience and making sure we continue to expand upon the quality education that they receive."
University officials said the plan will also focus on resource management and achieving excellence.
