VIDEO: Mayor Declares "Anders Broman Day" in Duluth

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Watch the full proclomation of Duluth Mayor Don Ness on Friday morning naming December 28, 2012 as "Anders Broman Day," that following his record-breaking performance on Thursday night.

Broman scored 42 points in a Lakeview Christian Academy win, making him the state's new all-time leading scorer with 4,122 career points. He needed just seven points coming into the game to pass the old mark of 4,086 set by Kevin Noreen.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The video shows Mayor Ness proclaiming December 27, 2012 as "Anders Broman Day," but after conversation with his office it appears that was simply a slip of the tongue. The official proclamation was made for December 28, 2012.
