Sunday, November 29
Tonight will be about the same temperatures of what we saw last night with lows in the teens. 17 here in Duluth and 10 in Hibbing. Winds will be calm overnight out of the southwest with increasing clouds. Monday will begin cloudy and remain that way with highs in the mid 30s. A low pressure system is approaching from the southwest and a majority of the region could see significant snow fall from this storm.
The winter storm will move into the region Monday afternoon and will mostly likely start as a wintry mix for NW Wisconsin, but will change to all snow Monday night. Here in the Twin Ports and most of Northern Wisconsin could see 4-6" of snow. Areas by Grand Rapids and Virginia and into the Arrowhead could see 2-4" and up in International Falls could see 1-2" Monday night through Wednesday morning.
As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the majority of the Northland effective from 6:00 p.m. Monday until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The low pressure departs from the region Wednesday afternoon leaving the rest of the week with highs in the mid to upper 30s and overnight lows in the 20s!
Have a great week and drive safe!
