DETAILED FORECAST

Thursday December, 18

TONIGHT: Cloudy with a 20% chance of on and off flurries. Lows are in the mid teens and winds will be out of the SW at 3-6mph. We have high pressure sliding east and a trough in the jetstream moving east as well creating some uplift.

FRIDAY: The trough in the jetstream is just to our north giving us cloudy skies and a 20% chance of flurries. Highs reach 20º.

SATURDAY: The trough to our north starts to develop an upper level low that will keep us cloudy and give us a 30% chance of snow showers/flurries. Morning lows are in the low 20s and highs are in the low 30s.

SUNDAY: A low pressure system moving east out of the Dakotas gives us a southerly flow, 30% chance of snow showers and milder than average temperatures. Lows are in the low 20s and highs are in the low 30s.

MONDAY:The clouds continue and the low nears, just to our south giving us an east flow and a 60% chance of snow. Lows are in the low 20s and highs in the low 30s again. Accumulations are around 3-6" at this point, but are subject to change!
