NEWSCENTER WEATHER FORECAST

Friday May 9, 2008       7:30 am

We are talking a bit of a Thursday repeat

Yesterday started with sunshine, but clouds began to develop in the early afternoon.  A similar weather pattern is expected today with a high temp near 55.  If you plan on being in canal park, highs won't even get out of the 40s!

This chilly weather is expected to hang around for the weekend, and will be paired with rain showers Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.  If you are heading out tonight at midnight, temps will be about 40 with light northerly winds and skies will be mostly cloudy.  Don't expect rain to fall until about late afternoon tomorrow.  Highs will only be in the upper 40s and low 50s, so be prepared out on the lake...

By Sunday afternoon, weather will dry up quickly for Mother's Day.  Highs will be in the low 50s, and we won't have to worry about rain again until the next front moves through Tuesday, but behind that... temps look to finally return to normal!  And believe it or not, normal is in the low 60s!  What a cool spring!  Hopefully summer isn't the same way...

Have a great Friday!
