DULUTH, MINN. --- Due to extensive flooding at the Lake Superior Zoo, the attraction is closed until at least noon on Thursday, August 19th.
In an e-mail Wednesday afternoon, officials said it's possible the zoo will need to remain closed for the entire day for clean up efforts. In addition, all summer camps for Thursday are cancelled.
Zoo officials say people should be assured that all precautions have been taken to ensure the safety the animals and staff.
