February 9, 2012 Updated Feb 9, 2012 at 8:12 PM CDT

A strong cold front will bring in some really cold temperatures throughout the Northland tonight and into Friday. Lows will be near -4 in Duluth and -15 around International Falls.

Winds will gust up to 30mph making wind chills near -30 to -40. Highs on Friday will stay in the single digits on Friday on the Minnesota side and near 11-15 in Wisconsin.

Some lake effect snow is possible for the South Shore bringing with it around 1-2" for the Ironwood area.

Make sure you bundle up and cover all areas because frostbite can occur.
