So this Colorado Low has certainly caused some headaches and trouble for much of the Northland region. The worst part of the system has moved on through our region, but some lingering lake enhanced snow is still possible along with fierce winds buffeting at wind speeds of over 20 mph with gusts over 40mph.
Ever since Tuesday evening, the storm was slowly encroaching on the Northland but with that slow movement came increased snow amounts for Northern Wisconsin and Central Minnesota. The totals in these regions ranged from 12" to as much as 20" with drifts piling as high as 6 feet. The cleanup in these areas certainly have caused delays and even the need to close off highways such as US 2 and Hwy 13 in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Please send any pictures or snow totals for your neck of the woods, and you might just see us use them in a program. Send them to email@example.com
