October Storm Brings Hail, Heavy Rain

A strong storms system brought hail and heavy rain to the Northland yesterday and today. Near Ely, Saginaw, Barnum and Pike Lake hail was observed yesterday between Pea and Dime Size. Today heavy rainfall continues to fall for most of the region with totals in the last 24 hours of 1.68" in Ely and 1.29" in Ashland.
