Slippery Roads across the Northland

Snowfall accumulations up to 3 inches in parts of the Northland have made road conditions difficult for areas on the Northland.

Accidents have been reported on Hwy 53 near Orr, and also on Hwy 2 near Poplar, WI

MN DOT and WI DOT both have slippery stretches of roads.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Douglas and Bayfield Counties until 3pm where snow accumulations could be 3-5 inches.

A Lake Effect Snow Advisory exists for Iron and Gogebic counties until 4pm where 3-5" of snow is possible today.
