Storm Spotter Training

October 3, 2011 Updated Nov 9, 2013 at 2:34 PM CDT

The Northland's NewsCenter will be hosting our second Storm Spotter Training Session this November 5th at 10AM in our studios here in Canal Park. Our session in spring focused on summer severe weather and this one will cover winter. From blizzards to ice storms the Northland sees it all. Having folks call in ice and snow reports really helps the weather service and the Weather Now team forecast and accurately warn for dangerous weather. Admittance is free and anyone of any age can come, as long as they learn something! We'll have free donuts, coffee and juice. It should last around an hour to an hour and a half.

All we need you to do is RSVP to: weather@northlandsnewscenter.com so we can get a accurate head count. Space is limited so RSVP today!

See ya there!
