A Wind Advisory has been posted for communities along the North, South shore including Duluth and Superior until 10pm. Wind speeds are expected to remain at 25-35mph today with occasional gusts over 50mph expected. At 8:25am a 51mph gust was reported from a weather station on Park Point.

This evening heavy rain will move in which could bring nearly 2" overnight tonight with additional precipitation continuing tomorrow.

To our south yesterday, storm chasers Ethan Milius, Bryce Link and others from Iowa State University captured a wedge tornado near York, NE. More storms like these will be possible south of the Northland for this evening.
