Tonight at Ten: The La Nina Effect

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - It was a wacky summer for many across the Northland.

"It was a shock," said Charles Keffer, a lake property owner. "We had hoped that it wouldn't come over the bank but eventually all of a sudden it did and the front yard was covered with water."

Residents say the 7.5 mile long Lake Saint Croix rose nearly 40" from April to May, forcing many running for dryer ground.
