The Storm Prediction Center has put a slight risk of severe storms for Portions of Cass, Aitkin, Carlton, Pine, Douglas, Ashland, Bayfield, and Iron Counties for today and tonight.
A Moderate Risk of severe storms is possible for Sawyer and Washburn counties.
The biggest threat is for Large Hail which is larger than 1 inch in diameter from these storms. Strong winds and also a tornado will be possible today in the strongest storms.
For the Range Cities, Twin Ports, North Shore and surrounding areas, strong storms are possible, but the risk for them becoming severe is lower.
