• Heat Wave Coming

  A heat wave with temperatures in the mid 80s to 90 is on the way for the weekend and beyond. Humidity levels will be extremely high giving us potential for storms each day.

• Excessive Heat Caused Pavement Blowout on Highway

  Ashland Co., WI(Northland's NewsCenter) - The county highway department says the pavement temps reached roughly 130 degrees.

• Park Point Beach Issues Moderate Risk of Rip Currents

  The rip current risk at Park Point Beach has been raised to Yellow, a moderate risk. The city of Duluth is asking that beach goers use caution when getting in the water.

• HWY In Nashwauk Closes Due To Flooding

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) MnDOT has closed Highway 65 from Nashwauk to Togo due to flooding.
