Job Shadow at the NNC!

By KBJR News 1

Alec, a junior from Hinckley-Finlayson, was a visitor on the set of NewsCenter Today on Tuesday, November 25th. He visited to see if a career in Journalism or Meteorology would keep his interest!

He was a great student, and seemed very interested in learning. As his mentor for the day, I really hope that he chooses weather! To be successful as a broadcast meteorologist, you should look into obtaining a degree in Meteorology with a focus in Communications. A good candidate should be ready to study hard in the Math/Science department, but also a good speaker! A little bit of the right and left brain...

Alec got to make his TV debut, and what do you think? National Star in the making? I think so!
