We found our Weimaraner Kimber at an animal shelter in Little Falls, MN. She was 9 weeks old and sitting in a cold kennel with her siblings. My husband picked her up and brought her home. I was asleep at the time and woke up to this little face staring at me. That night I took her to Walmart to get toys and dog food. I took her inside and she rode in the cart like a baby. Two days after having her at home, she became very ill. We took her to the vet and we were told bad news. The Vet said she had PARVO and probably wouldn't make it. We decided to try anyways and so she spent 6 days at the vet. On the 6th day the vet said that she wasnt going to make it since she wasnt eating. I hurried and grabbed some kibbles and she immediately ate from my hand. We took her home the next day. She is truly a miracle and we are so thankful for the happiness she has broughten us. Kimber loves car rides, riding on the 4-wheeler and boat, she is best friends with our calico cat named Beans. Kimber loves to cuddle in bed and pass out on the rug laying in the sun. She has been such a blessing and we love her so much!
