Blue's story is somewhat unknown, we got him from a shelter in Iowa nearly a month ago. We assume that he had never been to a beach, of any sort, but based on his overpowering and even "mighty" enthusiasm, curiosity, and playfulness, we guessed he would LOVE the water and sand of Lake Superior. And the pictures don't lie, he becomes a mad man when we take him there. Blue's crazed passion for hole digging and all other beach related activities is something I only aspire to emulate towards ANYTHING in my life. While his goofball nature makes it challenging for him to completely "possess great power or strength" in any one activity, he has mastered what many of us struggle to - having a "mighty" love for life.
