Clouds I've never seen on the Iron Range

These were the clouds that I saw in Aurora, MN yesterday (8-1-11)morning. They reminded me of the outside of a hornets nest, how they were so thick and wispy. We did have some rainfall but nothing severe. I have never seen these type of clouds before and wanted to know what they meant. Thanks!
