It was recently reported that the Park Falls Division of Weather shield Doors and windows Will be Closing. It been disclosed that management will be conducting a town hall meeting Thursday October 13th at 9Am to discuss possible options to keep the plant operational.Union representatives have indicated that a ratification vote would be required indicating concessions would be forth coming. weather Shield sites a 77 million dollar loss as the cause for the requested concessions. Currently employees have seen a 20% pay cut loss of all paid holidays and numerous other benefits slashed. This comes about after a long fought organizational battle where the membership voted to be represented by the Teamsters Local 662

Sounds to me like some companies make bad investments and then take it out on the workers. Maybe the higher ups should take pay cuts for themselves since it was obviously their bad planning that caused the deficit.
