Mrs. Lindquist's sixth grade religion class at St. James School wanted to reach out and help their community. They started by creating a proposal to share with the class and then voted on the top choice. The sixth grade class chose to host an omelet breakfast fundraiser to benefit the children of Essentia Health Children's Hospital this Sunday, April 1 at St. James School from 9:00am to 12:45pm.
The cost is $6 per adult and $3 per child. Their goal is to raise around $500 which will be used to purchase toys from the Essentia Health children's Amazon.com wishlist.
On Tuesday, April 17, the St. James sixth grade class will have the opportunity to bring the gifts to the children in the hospital and spend the afternoon with them.
