i saw karl trying to do this a few weeks ago, and it didnt work very well. so this morning i thought i would give it a try. we had a low of -36.8 at 7 am but i didnt think about doing this until 9 am. it was -26 outside, and i took the boiling water right off the stove and outside. i thought it might freeze before it hit the ground too, but no sign of any ice cubes. maybe at -36 it would have done that.
