I was out on a photo shoot, and ended up spending more time taking pictures of this storm! This is looking North, from Highway 53 by the Plaza 53 shopping center in Virginia. I watched it drop a few funnels, but nothing lasted more than a few seconds. You can see in this picture, near the upper right hand corner, how green the sky was getting. There was also some pretty defined rotation. It's been a very active storm season up here, this being the third or fourth mesocyclone to blow by in about a month's time.
