Starting last night the Iron Range saw a gentle snow begin and continue into this morning increasing wind speeds and decreasing visibility. I was forced to stay over at a friend's house in Hibbing rather than drive home to Chisholm last night. It was an amazing scene this morning to see such accumulation and change from melting snow and mud. I took the pictures around 4:30 a.m. and the snow is still coming now at 7 a.m., needless to say Hibbing will have even more work to do to remove the snow from both storms now. Till then I'm pretty well stuck till things clear up.
The scene from my friend's backdoor, yesterday this was a mixture of snow and MUD! 4-11-08
