The Minnesota Multispecies Tournament Series (MMTS) is a not-for-profit organization made up of dedicated anglers, fishing competitively to learn, share and enjoy the sport of fishing. We fish many or multiple species of fish, only scoring those fish of each species that represent quality fish. The minimum fish sizes, bonuses and the scoring system are based on how “difficult they are to catch”, for each species and the sizes available in our waters. We observe the laws and rules of the states and waters, as well as minimize our impact on the resource and other anglers.

We give back to the resource by encouraging catch and release and by assisting others that protect and study the resources. We have donated fish to the Great Lakes Aguarium and DNR fisheries biologists for study. We have donated many fish to Underwaters Adventures in the Mall of America, giving millions the chance to view the type of fish in Minnesota waters and learn about them first hand.

MMTS was founded in 1999 and has been steadily growing each year. We love the sport of fishing and work to ensure that it will be here forever.

If you share these values and beliefs and would like to participate or meet us, please check out our site, www.multispecies.com, contact us, or stop by on one of our nights. If you come by towards our ending time you will see some great fish and learn some great tips from our anglers.

I joined this league 2 years ago and I'm glad I did. I've learned a lot from others in the league, such as different techniques, hot spots, etc. It's a great group and a lot of fun!
