As Hurricane Sandy was touching the shore along the east coast its outer bands of clouds reached as far as the Wisconsin-Michigan border. Here are some photos that prove it that Hurricane Sandy was in fact touching the Northland. The photo of the very strait cloud bank was taken from Bayfield, WI looking due east.
