While out in Makinen Mn. over the 4th of July weekend I noticed the wild flowers were in full bloom in northern Minnesota so I took some photos and could hardly believe the bright colors and beauty.

That looks like the Wirtanen Farm. Wonderful place. There is a non-profit group that is restoring and preserving the farm www.wirtanenfarm.org
