Ice fishing action in central Minnesota

While fishing for crappies at a small lake near Merrifield, MN this past Friday brothers Tom and Don Wiedell caught and landed 27 and 30 inch walleyes. Both fish were caught in 16 feet of water with crappies minnows and small jigs just after dark. Both brothers are avid outdoorsmen spending a lot of time hunting and fishing. Tom is also a Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.charter fishing captain.
