Silver Lake in Virginia, MN. remains mostly unfrozen in the winter due to warm water discharge from the utility plant, so it makes for some great winter sunset photos and reflections while all other northland lakes are frozen over.

Not only are your pictures award-winning photographs, but you have captured, and preserved, moments in time that represent the Northland in all its beauty and grandeur. You have a watchful eye and, obviously, a good camera.
