Support for Universal Healthcare

A dozen hardy Northlanders braved winds gusting to 35 mph in order to show their support for universal healthcare for all. The gathering was in conjunction with a nationwide observance calling for a plan that covers everyone including the 47 million uninsured Americans. The single payer plan would involve no co-pays, no deductibles and no
exclusions for prior health problems. A World Health Organization poll recently rated the USA 37th among developed nations in access to and delivery of healthcare to its people.
