On June 20Th at 6:30 Am runners Melissa Ellefson Huray & Mike Huray began their quest in the 2009 Grandmas Half Marathon in Duluth.
They had been training for months prior to the race running from their west Duluth home to 21st Ave East & back. The training sure looked like it paid off as they passed by the Rose Garden with smiles & looking in great form with only 2.8 miles to go. Following not far behind them was a large group of runners & the wheelchair racers heading to the finish line in Canal Park.
