Karter was born on April 22nd, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. He had significant problems after birth and was transferred to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis on April 28th for further care and testing. While at Children's Hospital he underwent 2 major and 1 minor surgeries before finally coming home with us on June 10th, 2008. Karter is truly a miracle today and is healthy and blossoming into a wonderful little guy!
