Tim Louiselle of Duluth, MN caught his first sturgeon on July 19th at the fishing pier on Boy Scout Landing. The fish, approximately 44 inches, was caught on a night crawler right from the dock about 4:30 PM on a beautiful sunny day.

After about a 15 minute battle with the fish, Louiselle landed the fish for a few photos and back it went into the St. Louis River. A crowd of about 20 onlookers assembled to watch the epic battle and quite a bit of excitement was generated especially amongst the youngsters.
