This little kitty has had a rough first year of his life. Before he was a nice cuddly kitty he is today he was a wild cat that you couldnt even touch. That all changed on one very cold winter morning when I was outside tending to the horse when i had noticed something hanging from the horses water pump. Not knowing what it was i walked up to it. As i got closer i relized it was a cat. Thinking to my self it must be just getting a drink which was a normal thing to see the cats doing, but as i got closer i noticed it had been hanging on the pump for dear life. The poor little kittie had some how fell into the water and when climbing out got his left front leg froozen to the pump along with his tummy. as soon as i realize what had happened i ran back to the house to get some hot water to loosen the poor thing. When i had got him loose he tried to run away, but know that he would died i rushed him inside to warm him up. as he was getting warmed up we soon realize his whole front left leg was not going to make it. but we where not ready to give up yet so i sat by him trying to nurse him back to health he slowly became friendly but very nerves. and the days went by we noticed that on his tummy where it was froozen to the pump was swelling and in the later days it broke open with puss ozzing out thats when things turne for the worse. The left front leg was completly died now and we had been doctering his tummy back to health and that had held up we realized we needed to get help the leg had became hard and lifeless and we didnt want to risk infection. We ended up taking this kitty to the vet where the vet told us it was a mericle he was still alike and didnt have any infection. she told us there was nothing they could do to save the leg it was completly dead and they would have to remove it. It has been mouths sence the surgery now and im happy to say he is one happy spunky little kitty that we had saved just in time.
