My name is Lacey and this is my bizarre story that happened on the morning of Wednesday, July 29th. I was driving along North Shoreland Road in Sturgeon Lake, MN and happened to pass a huge eagle perched on the side of the road. I backed up and rolled down my passenger side window so I could get a closer view to take a picture. The eagle began to fly towards me. In a panic, I immediately put the window back up. Fortunately, it landed on top of my car instead of inside with me! In total disbelief, I took numerous pictures through my sunroof to prove what had just happened. Hoping it would fly off, I drove about two miles before pulling over by the Sturgeon Lake boat landing. The eagle not only enjoyed the two mile ride, but also loved posing for pictures by passing onlookers…who also couldn’t believe their eyes! Refusing to leave for almost an hour, I decided to take him for another ride. This time the eagle finally retreated and glided off from my car, close to where I picked up the “hitchhiker” originally.

Wow! How cool that must have been to see him! I especially like the one where he was looking down at you!
