Large hail in Town of Highland

Hail in Highland

Town of Highland, Wisconsin (near Lake Nebagamon) About 11 pm on Saturday, August 8 we looked out at the lightning show when the hail started. It started out about quarter size and quickly turned into golf ball size. From the sound on the roof we could tell that some of the hail was quite a bit larger. About 15-20 minutes later after the hail and strong rain finished we went out and collected some of the hail. It certainly felt like we were walking on golf balls. We even found some that were bigger than chicken eggs. I'm sure they were much larger when they first fell before they started melting.
All I can say is wow was that incredible and thank goodness for insurance!
