Who would have ever thought that being pregnant with twins boys would make you crave Sammy's pizza so bad! I was hospitalized at 24 weeks for pre-term labor and had to stay 2 weeks until I was discharged when things slowed down...I could not wait to get home, but we had to make one stop at Sammy's Pizza in Cloquet-of course! Sadly, I was hospitalized a week later until our boys were born at 30 weeks, but we did enjoy some Sammy's Pizza when I was able to come home for good. It is such a pleasure to go eat at Sammy's in Cloquet. The atmosphere is so inviting and the staff is great! Our tradition got started when I was very young. I remember going to Sammy's Pizza in Duluth's West end all the time. We always had so many people join us that we were always in our own private room in the back. It was such a family-friendly environment that we could just sit there forever exchanging family stories and eating the best pizza of all times. I look forward to passing on the tradition of Sammy's pizza to our boys once they are old enough to eat pizza.
