When I was just a young girl, my two older sisters came home one night and said that they had been to Sammy's for pizza pie. My younger siblings and myself asked what is Pizza Pie? They described the crust, sauce, meat and cheese and said it was delicious. Well, I thought that was a weird combination as we had only had apple pie, banana cream pie, etc. Being a very picky eater, I just knew I would not like pizza pie. Guess what - I've had to eat my words because one night they came home with a Sammy's pepperoni pizza and I thought it was the best thing I had ever eaten. My husband Mick and I have been enjoying Sammy's pizza almost weekly for over 48 years.
