My name is Brad Hasbrouck.

I was born with a song in my heart.

However, Sometimes I love to sing in the shower and in my bedroom.

At the end of this month, i'll be singing "Somewhere Over The Rainow" once again for this year's South ST. Louis County Fair Amateur Talent Contest.

The next day, I'll be auditioning for the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest for the 4th time.

I chose "When You Wish Upon A Star" as my song choice for this competition.

My goal is to advance to the semifinals in either 1 or 2 talent competitions at the Minnesota State Fair.

But, I plan to practice those songs for the next few songs until.

Starting last night the Iron Range saw a gentle snow begin and continue into this morning increasing wind speeds and decreasing visibility. I was forced to stay over at a friend's house in Hibbing rather than drive home to Chisholm last night. It was an amazing scene this morning to see such accumulation and change from melting snow and mud. I took the pictures around 4:30 a.m. and the snow is still coming now at 7 a.m., needless to say Hibbing will have even more work to do to remove the snow from both storms now. Till then I'm pretty well stuck till things clear up.

Well it all started out the night of my Bachelorette Party, Saturday April, 5th. The morning was beautiful, I wore a tank top and little shoes. I took a shower and hear about the storm. I didn't believe it, I was like I'll believe it when I see it! Well, I believe it now. As we were out it started to snow around 9pm. As the night went on they anounced congrats to me, right after he said it the power went out. It did come back on a few minutes later. My matron of honor had left for the night because she is prego and was our dd. I called her around 2am, not realizing how bad it was outside. We had to drive like 15mph and go off of land marks, at least what we could kind of see. We did make it, luckily! Next morning had to shovel out everything. At least today, Monday April 7th, I got to take pics and my dogs had a blast. Thank god for neighbors, they helped my hubby to be get the vehicles unstuck.
